Our structural steel division services the commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical and process industries. Our clients include NRA, Coca Cola, Allergan, Tibbet & Britton, Irish Rail and ESB.

We supply and erect structural steelwork for all types of projects from 20 tonnes to 3000 tonnes and we specialise in complex structures, which require a high degree of accuracy.

Building

The type of work which the company favours is multi storey car parks, retail parks, general industrial building. We have carried out work for clients such as Woodies, KFC, Champion Spark Plugs, Hydro Hoist, Stone Systems and Dan Morrissey Ltd.

Gantry signs

Thompson Structures is a major supplier of information gantry signs throughout Ireland. Thompsons Structures provide a full service for sign gantries including design, supply and erection where required. We can supply full access gantries for electronic signage, cantilever gantries for VMS or reflective signs. High quality paint specifications are available for these signs with periods of up to 20 years to first maintenance.

Bridges

Thompson Structures are the leading supplier of steel bridges in Ireland and supply footbridges, roadbridges and railbridges in structural steel. Our portfolio also includes marine structures and ro ro linkspans. Our clients include Irish Rail, NRA, Dublin Port and we work for all the major civil engineering contractors including Ascon, Roadbridge, Siac, Clonmel Enterprises, Laing O'Rourke and Gamma Construction.
